There is the possibility that the 6673 may "stain" the refinish clearcoat when removing a stripe, decal etc. Due to the age (recently painted) or quality of the refinish clearcoat. If the panel that you intend to use the 6673 on has been recently repainted or you question the paint quality, test the 6673 on an inconspicuous area before attempting use on-the entire panel. If the "stain" can't be removed use 9783/9784 acry solvent to remove the adhesive. In most cases the effect is not permanent and can be removed in one of two methods. If the panel is to be painted/blended sand the affected area with 1200 or 1500 grit to remove the "stain". If the panel is just going to have a new stripe or decal, apply polish to the affected area using 5361/5364 cutting compound with either a 5230 acrylic blend pad or a 5260 wool pad.
